TEACHING
PRO - DANNY LAVILLA
Danny Lavilla Jr. was born and raised on the Hawaiian
Islands. He attended high school and college in northern
California he is currenty living in Merced with his wife and
two daughters. He has been playing golf since the age
of seven and turned professional in 1992. Danny inherited
his nick name, "Iron Man", from his fellow peers because of
the numerous mini tours he has played in throughout the USA.
He has played in the Hooters tour, the Asian tour, the
South American tour, the Nike tour (newly named Nationwide
tour), and the PGA tour. Danny has won multiple
times on the Golden State golf tour and King Stallman tour,
just to name a few. Danny is currently playing tournament
golf and will be attending The Champions Tour Q-School Qualifying
in November. Along with his knowledge and teaching method
on the golf swing, Danny brings his magnetic personality
and energy to the 9-Iron practice center to help build and
rejuvenate junior golf in Merced. Danny is available
for private lessons on all aspects of the game.
